My Mission:

​I started Kinni Studios with one idea in mind- to make family friendly cartoons that focus more on the positive message than on the "shock" of the art. Shock is defined as; "a feeling of disturbed surprise resulting from an upsetting event or experience." In the right context and situation, shock art does have it's place, need and value, but here at Kinni Studios I try to focus on communicating the importance of family, friends, life, the experience of life and the simple lessons that can be seen everyday ...if we just take time to see them.  

With this in mind, every time that I sit down to draw I strive to search for the good in all things, the funny, and even things to make my readers think "outside of the box." That does not mean that you cannot celebrate the meaning of loss, grief, or pain. To me, what you learn from those experiences, what you take away from them to add to you, not subtract from you, is more important. While it is often easier to use the harsher sides of life or experiences as source material for art, I believe that it shows more strength and fortitude of character to always look for the good, the humorous, and even the lessons in all things that we experience.
I am not trying to be a teacher to the world.
​ I am trying to be a break from it.
